In my father’s day, men could write a quick note without a problem. There were no cell phones or email. Correspondence was done in a gentler more appreciative way. My father had to actually pick up a phone to call someone, speak to someone in person or write a quick note. Even though we now use modern methods of communication we should still try to master the older forms as well. Take for instance the short and quick note.
All you need to master the quick note:
1. Greeting is the way you are greeting the person you intend of getting the note.
2. Body of the note is a quick witty couple of sentences to convey your point.
3. Salutation which is your way of saying goodbye.
4. Your name.
That’s it. You can charm or impress at will now.
